One of the oldest family companies, Geo. Pavlides & Araouzos Ltd engages in the import and distribution of motor vehicles and pharmaceuticals, with a long-established success. Since 1929, it is the sole importer and distributor of General Motors in Cyprus . Additionally, the company deals in pharmaceuticals for over 40 years now, being the Cyprus representative of the prescribed drugs of Pfizer. The company also deals in shipping, travel and tourism, through sister company, Hull Blyth Araouzos Ltd. Automotive As a GM distributor, the company imports the Opel range of cars, the luxury brand of Saab , the freshly re-branded Chevrolet , as well as the Chevrolet Luv trucks. Vauxhall cars are sold exclusively to British servicemen based on the island. The company has Service garages run by highly-qualified engineering staff, Showrooms and Aftersales service facilities in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos, all operated by experienced staff. Currently 120 people are employed. Health Since the beginning of the sixties, the Company is responsible for the import, marketing and distribution of Pfizer products in the Cyprus market, representing some of the leading brands in the pharmaceutical industry.
